Introducing Elliott Bryant: AccuGrit’s New Finance Manager

We are excited to welcome Elliott Bryant to the AccuGrit team as our new Finance Manager. With a wealth of experience in finance and a passion for streamlining processes, Elliott is set to play a pivotal role in our continued growth. We recently grabbed 5 minutes from Elliott’s busy day to sit down with him to learn more about his journey and vision for the future at AccuGrit.

What attracted you to join AccuGrit, and what do you hope to achieve as the Finance Manager?

“I have always liked new challenges and have been naturally ambitious. What attracts me to AccuGrit is the exciting growth trajectory it is currently on—growth which I hope to be a part of and contribute to in my role as Finance Manager. I am keen on systems and processes, so I hope to help streamline processes, improve efficiency, and facilitate further company growth by implementing reporting frameworks and KPIs.”

Can you share a bit about your previous experience in finance and how it has prepared you for this position?

With a diverse background in finance, Elliot explained, “I have worked across many different companies and sectors in my career to date, from small SME companies, family run businesses, all the way up to big corporate entities. Therefore, I feel I have a broad detailed experience that will help assist me in this position as Accugrit looks to grow in the future.”

Can you share a bit about your previous experience in finance, and how it has prepared you for this position?

As someone new to the winter maintenance industry, Elliott has identified cash flow management as a crucial focus area. “I am new to the winter maintenance industry but coming what I see as a key area to focus on is managing cashflow within the business. As we look to expand that will result in additional spend on machinery and workforce so it is my task in Finance to facilitate this and ensure cash is available for Accugrit to capitalise on all the opportunities coming its way.”

How do you see your role contributing to AccuGrit's growth and success in the coming years?

Elliott envisions his contributions on both a day-to-day operational and a strategic level. “Again, I see my role contributing on both a day to day processing and efficiency level as well as improving long term reporting and forecasting for the business. I will be implementing forward looking reporting processes inhouse that will help improve the strategic level decision making being made. Ultimately, it is these decisions which allow the business to go from strength to strength so I hope to contribute to the overall growth of the business in the coming years.”

What are some of your interests or hobbies that help you maintain a balanced lifestyle outside of work?

Outside of his professional commitments, Elliott is a dedicated family man with a wife and three young daughters. “My weekends are filled with family days out, country walks, and the occasional children’s birthday party. I’m also a fan of tennis and ITFC,” he shared, highlighting the importance of maintaining a healthy work-life balance.
